My artwork is primarily photography-based, and I also activate my concepts through installation and performance.

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky and now live in Portland, Oregon. I graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and I received my MFA from University of California Los Angeles, where I studied with John Baldessari, James Welling, Mary Kelly, Allen Ruppersberg, and Mike Kelly. I focus my practice on issues of family, tribes, subcultures, and history by depicting a “community” of fellow artists, musicians, and curators in fictional narratives. I have exhibited in the U.S. and internationally, and have received reviews in Art Forum, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and L.A. Weekly.

As a production designer and art director, I have worked extensively in scripted and reality television. My team received an Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Production Design For A Variety, Reality Or Reality-Competition Series” in 2018 for Bill Nye Saves the World. Other projects include The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, The Voice, Making It with Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman, World of Dance, Temptation Island, Cosmic Love, Song Land, Hell’s Kitchen, Good Bones, Barely Famous, Cabin Fever, Ready For Love, Kitchen Nightmares, Nanny 911, and many others. I have traveled nationally and internationally with these productions.

My core strengths lie in translating high-level show concepts into tangible, camera-ready locations that reflect and amplify an overarching vision. Depending on what is most relevant to a project, I derive inspiration from many sources: interior & graphic design, architecture, literature, current events, film, television, theater, and fine art.

My experience working in the film industry, especially on HGTV projects, has led my interest to designing interiors. I believe that interior design is an art form, and every project is an opportunity to tell a story. My intent is to bring your vision to life, transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences. I love collaborating with clients and my goal is to curate spaces that reflect each client’s personality, lifestyle and aspirations.
